Having read through this. And no doubt seen the points raised. I don't think all has been taken into account. Duke gladly told his superiors he didnt want to be an officer. He also fought in comics and cartoons regularly.

Take this into consideration with destro a man of such nobility in the comics he passes violence for settling an all out war with a consideration he gets back the baroness. Whilst this proves he's smart to end a war without casualties on his side.. what does that tell you about destro and his fighting credentials?

I aint totally blowing this into duke's favour. it would just be good to hear some more perspectives on why you all think destro would wipe the floor with posterboy duke?

Duke is trained in alot of hand to hand combat situations.. granted he most probably organises alot of the joes missions and leads.. and most people will tell me the "proper role of a first sergeant" is such and such.. but lets put them both into context properly.

I do think Duke would take Destro. From the stories we've been given by marvel and so on about both characters. I think Duke would eventually have him, it would be close but i think he could take Destro.
