[COLOR=Red]i thought it went downhill awhile back, but i think its came back somewhat. not alot mind you. the reason i think its gotten a lil better is everyone is trying a lot harder, but with that it seems most people dont interact anymore.[/COLOR]

What I don't get is why when a person decides to leave the forum they feel the need to announce it...I am a busy person myself and haven't had the chance to post any pics recently or interact with you all but I think that if I was fed up or something, well, I would just stop entering the web address to this site in my browser and move on...

I agree, the forums here have kinda fizzled out....and not just here, but at all of the joe sites....I attribute it to the fact that there isn't much happening with GI Joe right now. The 25th is a mixed bag, you either love them or hate them. And either way, you can't find them...unless you're lucky or wanna spend the whole weekend and two tanks of gas looking. ehhh...it has slown down! But something good will eventually happen..it always does!

that sounds true for some. but i think some do it out of respect. i know some members who i once saw on a lot just stopped without a word. myself, i would like to know when and why someone is leaving and if they intend to come back someday.[/COLOR]

Yeah, and most of us (myself included!!) end up not leaving! I was so fed up with certain unnamed parties when I left that I seriously didn't want to come back....then a friend reminded me that I'm a Marine 24/7....and we just DON'T GIVE UP WITHOUT A FIGHT! And she has a saying "don't let the bastards get you down!".

I used to feel the same way. that it was a lot of drama by saying goodbye, but hey, now that I've been there, I figure I have no right to judge. Valor 11, just take a break...don't leave....walk away for a while, come back in 3 months, 6 months whatever...let some time pass, then if you don't come back, we'll understand.....God knows, my little break did me good!

I think from now on, all posts saying "I'm leaving" should be changed to "I'm taking a leave of abscence!" :rolleyes:
