25th and wal-mart?

[COLOR=Red]has anyone been seeing any new 25th figures at their wal-mart? i haven't saw any in months. i'm wondering if for some reason that wal-mart has stopped getting the 25th? is this the case or is it just that my wal-mart hasn't gotten any in? there isn't even a peg up for them any more.[/COLOR]

All mine has had is the 25th legion set, besides that nothing in a while, not even empty pegs. located in kentucky

The WalMart here has NEVER had them & has never had pegs for them. They have tones of the 12" AT reproductions though.

The Legions set and the Joe set are everywhere, all my stores have the pegs, but very few have the figures. I had to resort to KB, TRU, and Ebay for my wave 3ers. Although I actually did the ebay thing in the middle (wanted FF badly!) and found the rest at TRU last weekend. It was a bit more exspensive, but coupled with the gasoline it takes to hunt them down I was glad to end the hunt. Zartan was the hardest for me to find. Haven't seen wave 2 since late September/early October. I'm hoping with the holidays we see more single packs around. I want a couple more troops and the fixed Beachhead.

I actually ordered a case of wave 5 from BBTS and hope to see it before Christmas, I'm dying for that Anni. CG!

my Cousin Works At Walmart And Hooked Me Up With The First Wave. But Since Then It's Slim Pickens. My Wife Being The Sweatheart She Is Looks At The Targets Near Her Work On Breaks Thats How I Have Most Of The Single Cards.

I finally caved and picked up a Legion set earlier in the week. I really wanted that Stinger Driver. It's actually pretty nice, I mean the sound box and the troopers are great, but even the repainted Storm Shadow and Cobra Commander, though unnessessary, are decent enough. I want a few a few more Air Tropers so I might pick up an additional set and then wait for the wave 4 repackers.

I consider this in NO WAY as a continuation of the original Joe line, I think of it as a brand new series (think Vintage vs. Modern He-Man or Turtles). But it's neat to collect them and I like the anticipation of getting something new.

Me I love the hunt. The toys are a bit uhhhh (IMO) but it's a great way for my sons to get into it. As seeing their dad with boxes of rah style was'nt enough. they get one set to open and I get a set to display.

yeah walmart is pretty bad about getting anything in. i work there now and sadly i am dismayed everyday to find 4 empty pegs of where 25th should be. not a hide nor hair of it since i snatched up wave 1 three months ago.

I haven't even seen anything having to do with 25th anniversary at the Wal-Mart's in Canada, just the Sigma 6 stuff. :(

My Walmart keeps getting Wave 2 I think. Usually a Serpentor or 2 lots of Hooded CC's and quite a few Buzzers. Occasionally they might have SE or SS, but rarely. But it's nice some are on the shelf at least.

I saw at least 8 legions sets at a Wal-Mart today, as well as a few Joe sets. They had one single pack Cobra Commander. It's pretty much slim pickins right as far as singles go. Hopefully with Christmas coming waves 2-5 will be abundant...Hopefully!

There are 6 Legion packs at the Wal Mart here in Cedar, and they have mainly waves 1 and 2 singles. I saw wave 3 once and picked up three from that wave and haven't seen any others since.

My local Wally's have:

- NO 25th Singles of any wave (ever)
- NO 5 Packs Joe, Cobra, or Legions
- NO Sigma 6
- NO 12 inchers
- NO tags or shelf space for any of them either


I now HATE Walmart. :mad:
