Weekend Warriors: May 16-19

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray]Since General Scarlett apparently left us and I don't know if anyone else was going to do this, I figured I'd put it out there now and give us a couple days' planning-time...[/COLOR]

Weekend Warriors is JoeDios' weekly group activity, where a scenario or simply a title is given and it's up to members to interpret it in photographic form! Let your imagination run wild and see how different members' creativity is sparked in different ways from the same starting point!

The theme for this weekend, May 16-19, is:

[COLOR=Navy]PRISON BREAK [/COLOR]

Post up your pictures with the title "Weekend Warriors: Prison Break." That's it -- no further rules, no advance sign-up, just get snapping and we'll see you at the weekend!

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray]...is that OK with everyone? I realise I can't sticky the thread or anything. If I end up doing this again in subsequent weeks I'll definitely be mining that old theme suggestions thread for titles, but I thought of this one like a year ago so I want to see it used![/COLOR] :p

Back in my lurker days, when Lord Raven ran the Theme Week, the weekend's title was voted on by members. I dunno if that'd be a viable option nowadays but it'd be great to get everyone involved in coming up with themes, it might help get everyone more enthusiastic about participating.

Or just type in 'Weekend' in forum search and check all the weekend's, they're 'themed'.......

The thread you linked to is a suggestion thread, I think what Stormer meant was that there previously would of been a poll where members could post up which one they wanted to do out of a selection of 3 themed ideas. :cool:

Maybe that suggestion thread could be used for future Weekend Warrior themes?
