What is your favorite JoeDios picture of all time?

The forums have been a little dead lately so I thought I would start a discussion about our little hobby inside the hobby of Joe collecting. There are some wonderful pictures on this website, but I am sure everyone has a all-time favorite. Every time it comes up in the random photos section, you have to look at it...again. Tell us why you think it is great: lighting, favorite figures or vehicles, photoshopping skills, customs, scenery, whatever it is that draws you to it.

Here is mine. (http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/showimage.php?i=8484&catid=searchresults&searchid=29537) I think this looks as about as real as you can get toys to look. Great vehicles, the burning Rattler is top notch. The light is great, outside shots are alot of times washed out by the sun, this one is believable. The photoshop effects look real, this is something I admire because I have not been able to do in my pics. Hopefuly when I find the right program I can make a pic half as good as this one.

My favorite is one by guess who...outrider as well. His pic called "rattler down" (sorry I dont know how to post the link) was one of the first ones I saw when I first came here. Man, if I could take pictures like that!

I GOT TO SAY THERE ARE ALOT OF PICS ON THIS SITE THAT STAND OUT. BUT THIS ONE (http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/showimage.php?i=6663&catid=member&imageuser=120) HAS POPPED UP FROM TIME TO TIME. I REMEMBER FIRST STARTING OUT, WHEN I SAW THIS I WAS FLOORED :eek: . I REMEMBER THINKING THERE IS NO WAY IN THE WORLD I COULD EVER BE THIS GOOD. BUT CRAIG'S WORK HAS INFLUENCED ME SO MUCH... TO EVEN GET A COMMENT FROM HIM ON ONE OF SHOTS MAKES MY DAY THANKS OUTRIDER.

I don't want to get into this, but man, when Craig showed up and was showing off Luke Ellison-like shots... i was floored. his fotoshopping of aerial stuff was top notch! go look for yourself, several pags back!

I don't think I could pick one individual shot, but as far as single photos go, Outrider tends to be my favorite as well!!

I just regret that we'll never see him post any more shots with 25th figures!

I think Outrider does some great work here and some of it is among my favorites. But I think this one (http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/showimage.php?i=88&catid=member&imageuser=3) is my favorite that is not mine. I think the lighting and the angle that makes it :D

I wanted to add a honorable mention - Night Raven Hangar (http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/showimage.php?i=7938&catid=searchresults&searchid=29567). This is a great shot using every day items. It looks believable, has a couple of cool customs and the lighting looks like it is coming from inside the hangar. Very cool pic! :cool:

Anybody notice that most of the shots we seem wow-ed by are ariel shots. Probably because they are so difficult to get to look realistic!

My fave shots have been the ones that Outrider first started here with. The aerial shots, as Frank just mentioned. There were some of us who questioned if it was Luke Ellison in disguise and it's because of him (and Luke) that I threw down too!

Erm...this is a little embarrassing, but I'm glad most people seem to enjoy what I do. I certainly enjoy doing it, and thanks for everyone's kind words! Personally, I could never pick just one picture as my favourite, and maybe that's a cop out, but there are so many here that inspire me. I know I've "borrowed" plenty of ideas I have seen on display here over the years, and there's a core of awesome contributors who always come up with the goods, and who never cease to amaze me. Yep, even after more than three years hanging around this site, every so often someone still comes up with a pic that makes me go "wow!"
I know I can always come here and see quality work, much of it equal to (or even better than) professional work or catalogue shots. There's a gathering of truly talented and creative people here, and by a happy coincidence, most of them are also great guys (and girls). Long live Joedios!

Like some of here have already mentioned...I cant pick up one single shot that is my favorite. But I absolutely love Outriders, Flatlines, Guiltriddens, Vaders and Enders work. They always light up my day and make me go OMG!

The sets, the customs, the lighting and the "idea" of their pictures never cease to amaze me. :D

The above can also be said in the land of DioStories about Violentfix and General Hawk.... just change the word "picture" to "story" cos' these guys are AWESOME!!(yeah , shlightly out of topic, but could not pass the opportunity up). :rolleyes:
