those of us who have been around a year or more may have noticed that many, many people have left joe dios and not returned. im sure im not the only one wondering where they are now. maybe some other form of net communication. bravo left us for awhile but is back now, but what about Ruki Ren93. how awesome would it be if he and Monte Williams got together for a sigma 6 dio? if you havent saw his S-6 customs, you need to look. i also remember the phu guy. never saw him on much, but he was the first person i think i private messaged and he helped me a little with molding sculpts.

i Noticed Too. Some I Think Maybe Linger Some Got Banned. There Was Quiet A Few That Used To Comment On Pics But Never Really Posted Much. It Could Be Many Reasons Persomal Emotional Or Financial.

Ruki Ren was banned across ALL the Joe sites. He made a lot of deals he couldn't finish and found himself in legal trouble. From the mods and administrators from the JBL, he will NEVER be allowed on a GI Joe forum again.

A lot of people left but I will NOT go into the whys.

I don't know about other people, but I was gone for a few months. The worst part is, I can't really explain why. I mean, there were time constraints: work, friends, family... but there are ALWAYS gonna' be time constraints.

It's a blast bein' back, though :D

I've been here over three years now, and I've seen many, many people come and go. I was actually absent for a month or so a while back because I changed ISP's and had server problems which stopped me from accessing the site at all...man, was that frustrating! As for why people leave, who knows? That old beast called "life" has a way of interfering.....

I'm just going on a year this month and I've seen several come and go, I just hope when some leave more join. I really enjoy this sight and it makes the crap I have to put up with at work bearable, even my wife says I've been a lot less stressed since joining.

Uh, 3 actual people I think, but they kept coming back as lurkers, so about a total of about 45 banned accounts! LOL! Just being a smart @$$! ;)

I do wonder where HellJester, Luke Ellison and Phu have been. When I first got here it was those three, Graham and Craig that welcomed me aboard and gave me some cool advice.

I was wondering this myself the other day, mainly because my Joe/TF dios used to get like between 8-12 comments when I'd post new pages, but I now I barely get like 3 or 4... Not that I'm desperate for praise or something, but I love getting feedback --both on what I did well, and more importanly what could be improved-- and that's something I miss.

I do recall Captain Max was banned (that sticks out because he was one of the ones who used to comment on my pics a lot). To this day, I'm not sure exactly why (I remember what happened publicly, but I couldn't see it as reason to be banned, so something must have gone on behind the scenes). Come to think of it, Blowtorch, who was also banned, used to give me comments too. Maybe it's a conspiracy against me...? (kidding!!)

General Hawk used to drop in and post links whenever he put up a new section of his dios, but he stopped doing that several months ago for some reason. And Stormer was fun to have around too, but he's been out of sight for a few months as well.

But I guess with all sites people come and go. That's just how things are in this crazy world called the internet...

I have noticed fewer people on over the years. But I see new ones too. I do feel bad that I would like to comment more on pictures and posts but when I check out JoeDios while at work, I don't log in... When I get home I want to go to bed... Or Family time... Time is my problem.

I was wondering the same here.

I'd some hard time lately and I'm trying my best to get out of it. But sometimes the clock just run against me.

I was out of the loop from last winter until now. I changed jobs and am just back to a position where I have extra time to surf. I have not left the hobby, just the opposite. I have invested a lot of money in the 25th line. I really like the figs and vehicles. I plan to start posting pics again. This is my favorite site. JoeDios rocks!

I'm still here! I used to post a lot of pics, but have recently been consuming a lot of time commenting on the fine work of others.

I've also realized I need to step my game up. Lots of helpful hints have been posted. I'm continuing to experiment with lighting and photography. Alas, like others, by the time I log on it is usually very late...
