So my friend was round today. and I got thinking about Italy.. the country and all it stands for.. what did Italy bring us? Good Football (soccer as it's known in the states).. but they also brought us good food.. :D Yes they did.. Pizza is good.. it's from Italy right? All the best Pizza's are in Italy.. and then we have Women..
Italian women are said to be fiesty.. and argumentative.. but bare with me for a moment..
Italy brought us.. Federica Ridolfi..
What is so good about Federica Ridolfi.. I can't quite figure it out..
I done a sizeable photo set of her
Federica Ridolfi (http://www.flickr.com/photos/superiorraw/sets/72157607235499622/) maybe you guys could tell me?

I think my answer to the question lies somewhere within the photos.. Italy definately brought us something good in this woman..
I was going to post this in the photos section as a story.. but I wasn't sure if it would go down well. :o
We have Neapolitan Joe from Italy.. maybe he could tell us more?

An Italian discoverd America..
The Rennesance begun in Italy, thereby ending the dark ages.
Rome is Italian so everything you think is cool about gladiators and the Roman army is Italian.
The Catholic Church got its start and is still headquarted in Italy, so everything you think is cool about Catholic priest and rituals are Italian.
Also an Italian discoverd China.
And Leonardo Da Vinci was Italian.

Yes, I've seen this Federica Ridolfi before-- Pretty awesome!

Italy also brought you my G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover, since I'm half Italian. I imagine the Italian half is the Transformers fan, so if it weren't for Italy, it would just be a story about G.I. Joe meeting no one...

By the way, in real life my last name is Re (Italian for "king"). I wonder if that means Neapolitan Joe has to bow before me or something... ;)

I'm as much of a hound dog as any other dude, but isn't this a tad off topic? I'm thinking that this board isn't just for male memebers and I don't know how I would react to a discussion about scantily clad Sylvester Stallone , John Travolta, Leonardo DiCaprio ,Ray Liotta or similar (who btw - ironically I picked because they have italian decent...).

Well that is true, but I was thinking along the lanes of maybe marking posts such as these with something (like: OT: title here) - sounds like a plan?

Back on off-topic:
btw you guys forgot lasagne and pasta - there is probably more delecious foods that come from Italy - but along with pizza those are my most favourite in the world!

Italy reminds me that Olive Garden, though meant to be from Italy; is actually prefabricated crap heated in a microwave and served to you for a criminally inflated price that even monkeys wouldn't eat!!
