Pics to come soon. I'll be selling some and just plain giving away the rest. It is not because of the economy. I've just outgrown it and figured you guys would appreciate it more than some hag at a yard sale.

First, I'm sorry you've "out-grown" Joe. Some of us never out grow our childhoods...some of us never grow-up (comment my wife makes to me ALL THE TIME).

I'm with Vespapilot...let us know what you're parting with.

Man, growing up is so over rated! don't do it. I tried it once and it just gave me a headache.

I, too, would be interested in seeing what you want to unload. I grew up for awhile, and found it to be over rated like many here.

"what's this ... growing up.. malarky you guys keep mentioning.. " :o

Anyways.. Are you going to update this thread with what you have.. then you can let the vultures circulate and have a gander at what they want.. :D
I'm lookin to get back into GIJOE myself.. so I'd be interested to see what you have available.

I've tried "growing up" a few times and really all it led to was buying back the stuff I had gotten rid of.

Tell me about it. And, if you're like me it is always harder, everytime you do the buy back. Yeah, it's costly and difficult to locate, but for me its the arguement I have with my wife over what is "needed" or "affordable" or "extreneous". Then there's the comment "Where would you put it if you got it?" Thing is, I could easily store all of this stuff if she'd just let me move the kids into the basement and use their room. But, NOOOO, how could I think of such a thing? Man, this growing up stuff SUCKS!!!

Hrm... if it makes sense, I feel I never did outgrow GI Joe. Instead I feel I matured with it. I mean, the style of play has changed. Now it's more like a hobby.. like as if model building. I'm buying figures to kit bash them.. now called doing customs. Doing diorama's I'm finding myself researching the techniques in the model magazines for 1/32 and 1/48 scale WWII tanks. Doing lots of research for accuracy. Gosh, it's a lot of work!

And it's expensive.

So, GI Joe 1/18 scale has replaced the 1/32 scale Tamiya model kits I used to be into. Hobby stores are getting harder to find, but Star Wars and GI Joe are easily found. Dios for either is now my new hobby. The style of play has changed.
