Hey
So I've been playing around with my airsoft kit, and I'm wondering which one of these three you like the best?

this could be gijoe related, as I plan to make a custom character based slightly off my look - and paint a figure up ;)

And as a side note, I wish they had gone with Multicam for the uniforms in the upcoming gijoe live action movie - it would have been so much better then the urban uniforms they chose with gijoe written all over it...

anyways: take a look:

I agree with number 2. I like the vest, is that an "airsoft" EOD vest? The protection area is all frontward. What brand M-16 is that?

Id go with the one in the middle!! Nice setup!! I wouldnt mind doing a setup with an MP5 with a double clip, red dot scope and laser dot. Not sure waht id do for my fatigues tho, maybe digi camo or a sub urban pants with a black top.

The one in the middle looks good. But umm.. what exactly is an "airsoft kit"?

The vest is a Crye Precision multicam chassis replica. Its for combat, and you can of course add more protection if you want (groin etc)
The M16 is in airsoft terms a G&G M4 or as they call it GR16-R4

An airsoft kit is a complete loadout of military equipment mean to be used in an airsoft game (uniform, apparel, weapons etc): airsoft is replica weapons that fire small BB's (mostly plastic) and are used for war games/fun/sometimes military training.

On a fun sidenote!
Watch the Rise of Cobra trailer and you will see Rip Cord and Duke wearing Multicam uniforms (like mine! But different chest rigs) :D

The 2nd one.

The "Sand Viper" mask in the 1st one looks very cool... but I would use it with other uniform.

The 3rd one looks great as well, but the 2nd one makes you stand out.

This here is my own airsoft gear... I couldn't find the extra clips for the M4 and the Glock, they each have 3 clips.

heh, I've had the same vest, I still have the same elbow and knee pads, and I have a glock (that is probably the same)

Oh and its Mags (or magasines) ;) :p Clips are a thing of the past.

But yeah, looks good, you use a black bdu with that kit?

Looks good! The 1st one would cause the enemy the most nightmares, the 2nd and 3rd one look very military commando accurate.

So maybe you need different outfits for different missions...

Thanks
I have different outfits for different missions ;)
Just trying to make this one the "representative" of my group - and let the others in the group build around that one.

I use Black, Urban, or Jungle depending on where and when we play, but mostly black. I know its mags, but I couldn't think of it when I was typing, so I said clips.

Sounds good to me. Oh and I'm just being an @$s when it comes to "clips vs mags" - I really find it so deliciously funny when you hear it in movies from supposedly highly trained military (or cia) people. Nobody who has been around guns for real in those training connections would ever refer to it as a clip.

for those still in the dark here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clip_(ammunition)

"The term clip is commonly but erroneously used to describe a firearm magazine. A clip is used to feed a magazine, while a magazine or a belt is used to load cartridges into the chamber of a firearm."

;)
so now all of you know - aaaaaand... (I'll let the next poster finish that quote)
