Hey Everyone!
The third round of the 2009 G.I. Joe Q&A are due to me no later than Monday, July 6th at NOON eastern time (one week from today).
Any questions submitted after that will have to be used for the next round (not for another 2 months!)
Please remember that you have three (3) questions and that you need to submit them NOT to this email address, but to gijoeqa@hunterpr.com.
We will get answers back to you by Friday, July 17th.
Thanks and have a terrific 4th of July holiday!

Dear Hasbro
Last session we at JoeDios popped a question about playset quality and if we could expect a return to the playsets of yesteryear such as the Terrordrome and the Mobile Command Center to name a few. You twisted this question around into a plug for your PIT playset, which most fans find repulsive.
Essentially, the problem with this PIT, much like the Conquest Of Cobra Mountain playset, is its fragmentation. The Cobra Mountain set had things like a throne and a prison, but they weren't linked to anything (no ladders, stairs, elevators... did Cobra Commander paradrop every time he wanted to sit in his throne?), and likewise the PIT features such mind-boggling ideas as bunk beds hanging off the outside of the playset (better hope it doesn't rain!), an infirmary located in the trunk with no way to reach it other than walking out of the vehicle, around it and then Super Mario jumping onto the infirmary floor. Either that or paradropping off the top of the vehicle. We can understand the need for the playset to "close up" and be mobile, but seeing it was done better twenty-two years ago with the Mobile Command Center, it's simply staggering how bad (and expensive!) this playset is.
So the question that was left at the last Q&A remains standing... Will we ever see a return to "complete" playsets of GIJoe's glorydays (which could be done at a similar price point, hell the 2003 reissue of the Mobile Command Center retailed for less!) or will we forever be stuck with overgimmickized, fragmented "playsets" like the PIT and Conquest On Cobra Mountain?
PS: it's astonishing how time-consuming one must word his questions just to get around the corpora-speak your answers usually end up being.

Is their anything you can comment on at this time?
and/or
Is their any plans for the line you can tell us about?
(pretty much eliminates their two favorite answers!)

Sorry for the previous post.. I'm just a bit annoyed with Hasbro. Very little substance in their replies; replies that appear to be cookie cutter.
Anyway, the following are some questions I wouldn't mind submitting, but I kinda want to get everyone's opinion on them, maybe fine tune them, or blend them into someone else's better question. Here are my thoughts:
I, for one, am interested in learning of the future of the 25th line/style. I know there's a market they want to tap for the Resolutes and I am one who will buy those. However, I am interested in buying all of the classic Joe's in the 25th style, including classic vehicles (MMU, HAL, etc).
1) Personally I want to know if such figures as the Technoviper will be released in 25th style.
2) As an army builder, I am pleased that Hasbro is offering several sets of figures for army building. However, choices are limited. As an army builder, I am looking to buy Vipers, Crimson Guards (in crimson color), Iron Grenediers (spelling?), Resolute Troopers, Snow Serpents, and BATs. Are there any plans to expand the choices for army building to include these?
I've got another one!
In recent years, tie-in comics from both Devil's Due Press and IDW Comics have featured characters who don't wear outfits that match the toys being released of them, and vice versa. A lot of the fandom is left wanting versions of characters seen in the comic books as toys, a desire that rarely bears fruit from Hasbro. (this question submitter in particular would LOVE to have a Storm Shadow figure in the outfit from his 2007 Ongoing series).
Is there any reason why these comic book designs are rarely if ever translated to toy, or vice versa why comic books aren't mandated to follow the toy designs more closely?
So Graham...
Which three questions will we be submitting?

I only saw 2 real questions. so i thought i'd punk them with a more obnoxious one. Email sent, btw.

What will it take for hasbro to drop GI Joe MSRP so it does NOT compete w/ Star Wars?
