Hmmm, haven't seen these before, could be interesting, it depends what they come up with. There's not much point buying o-ring figs I already have, especially as I'll have to pay for a 25th figure I don't want as well. I'll have to wait and see just what figures/vehicles they end up doing.

Looks cool to me. Snow Job's biceps are back (or they found close matches), and if he's got the soft hands of post-97 figures he'll replace my 97 Snow Job. Kind of bummed that his Polar Battle Bear lacks the missiles on the skis.

On the right side, the Rockslide and its Snow Job are different from the regular release, the snowmobile being white and grey rather than dull shades of blue, and Snow Job featuring more grey reminiscent of the 1997 version compared to the greens on the first ROC version.

I'm getting this for sure.

I hate multi-packs so much. They always have something I don't want. I'd like to get the Battle Bear but I'm not paying for the Rockslide to get it.

Really? Why not? It's a great vehicle!

They lost the rights to the old name.

Besides, the Battle Bear had already been renamed the Rockslide in 2002, so it's not like it's without precedent.

Not my ideal choice (even with the long winters here, I tire of snow vehicles) or format, but it's something. $20 I might get it. Over that...and I'll wait for clearance.

Others?

Old Ferret and New Ferret? (Scrap Iron overload?)

Old Armadillo and new Armored Panther?

Buzz Boar and Mole Pod? (Might be a hoot if they made ARAH Croc Master as a "terra viper", but thar wouldn't be retro...so...maybe...Rock Viper??)

Silver Mirage and Snarler cycle?

Disgustingly redundant since the new ones are just retools of the old ones.

Yes, yes, yes, yes yes!

Silver Mirage and Snarler cycle?
Eeeeeeh.... Only if they can fix the stability issues on the Silver Mirage.

I'm getting this. I could use a new Snowjob and a PBB. The rest will probably go to goodwill. I don't need/want the movie caca.

If there's nothing else pressing, I could get this to replace/update my version 1 snowjob and battle bear. The new snow job might be for customizing a joe arctic team.

Yuck I dislike the Rockslide too.
I don't need another Snow Job.
I wouldn't mind another PBB.
I suppose I wouldn't mind getting another 25th Snow Job. I could just do a head swap with some of my other Joes for an Arctic version.
Can't wait to see what else they come up with.

I picked up 'movie' ferret and scrappy. i can deal with scrappy but the Ferret is junk imo. too big. figure can't fit on it w/o looking utterly weird. The JvC 4-wheeler was better scaled.

And get this. w/ the movie figures, there are 3 different posters. so for the hardcore collectors, you KNOW you gotta have EACH poster w/ every desert duke. That's right, there's the poster of SE vs SS. There's Duke in funky gear. AND there's the nite raven poster. They are packaged randomly. ie; the 1st desert duke had the SE/SS poster. the 2nd Desert Duke had the Duke w/ armor. The 3rd had the nite raven poster.

While most of us SHOULD NOT care, there are those who will go buck wild in having the same figure w\ what they can assume are DIFFERENT posters! hahahhahahahahahhahaaaaaaaa. :P

For dislikement's sake, or with valid reason? Because the only flaw I see with that beauty is that its missiles aren't removable.

As long as they don't mess witht he paint job that we see here, I will get this. I was on the fence of getting the Roc vehicle here and with getting another PBB I can use this.

Yeah, this one has nicer colors, using whites and greys in favor of greyish blue shades.

I don't care for the cockpit. It looks off somehow. Plus it seems oversized ina Fisher-Price toy way.

Uh... I'm going to ignore the "Fisher Price" comment because it reeks of Playskoolness (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Playskool) (no offense), but what exactly looks off with the cockpit? Have you seen it opened, or just closed?

I like that Snowjob (He's got brown bicep pockets!) but he comes with another figure I'm not a fan of, the TRACKED COMBAT EGG, and a Polar Battle Bear. I have to disagree with whoever said it was a great vehicle, because it wasn't, it wasn't much fun to play with. It's not even that great for it's size, the Armadillo, R.A.M. and L.C.V. Recon sled were all better.

Oval shapes happen to be very aerodynamic, it makes every bit as much sense on the Rockslide as it does on supersonic jets.

No more have been shown at SDCC. I'm starting to doubt there are other sets planned.

Though the Hasbro slideshow did show the Battle Bear missiles, as well as Snow Job's accessories, are included (unless they "flip the script").

According to General Joes (http://generalsjoes.com/2009/07/23/transcript-from-hasbro-g-i-joe-the-rise-of-cobra-panel-at-sdcc/) they said more sets will come out in 2010. They just weren't revealed at SDCC.

Remember, Joecon is still around the corner.
