Is anyone else here getting sick of seeing what is coming out in Wave 4 and 5 (ROC) when I STILL have not seen all of Wave 2 in stores yet? I still haven't seen ParaViper, Doctor or Duke in Delta six accelerator suit yet. I have a feeling that buy the time they get Wave 3 in the stores around here GI Joe; The Geriatic years will be out!

I don't mind seeing like Wave 4-5 advertised if Wave 3 is out....but being 3 waves ahead of what I can purchase is just PI$$ING me off!

Welcome to my world. Everything always comes out later in Canada.

But it's not as bad as it used to be. Back in the 80s when I was a kid, going to the US was like time travel. TV shows were on their next season, comics were three months advanced and GI Joes were, I don't know how many waves ahead. It was awesome, I'd stock up on everything. It sucked getting home though because it seemed like forever before I'd ever see something new again.

I've barely glimpsed C1W2 long enough to get Paris Pursuit Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow.

Reactive Armor Duke and Cobra Commander are hanging on the pegs at TRU but I don't want the former and the latter is the ones with the holes not filled in so I don't want it.

Helix's wave still hasn't been seen locally.

We've only got Wave1s at my local store. HOWEVER, I don't hunt anymore so I don't know if Target or WalMart are in the game.

1&2 are swamping the pegs here, Occasionally enough of them will disappear to put out one box of wave 3, but pitviper and crimsonviper are gone in minutes Helix is just starting to hang around for a few days. wave four I feel will never see the shelves with the stock of wave 1,2,and3 clogging the works! I put in a pre order with BBTS for wave five cause I ain't even going to take the chance trying to carch a City Strike Snake Eyes (resolute) at retail!

Hehe

I share the frustration.

But I do so with a grin...

...because I have had time to prepare for that wave.. and watch out to the store that gets it :-)

truthfully I have been used to bad distro on hasbro's part for the Joe line for 3 years now, this sounds no different from what I have been dealing with all that time.

This topic baffles me on account of the fact that there are both collections and waves.

Collection 1, Wave 1:
Destro
Desert Ambush Duke
Neo-Viper
Snake-Eyes
Storm Shadow
Baroness

Collection 2 Wave 1:
Breaker
Multicam Heavy Duty
Accelerator Suit Ripcord
Joecamo Scarlett
Shipwreck
Viper Commando
Zartan

Collection 1, Wave 2:
Cobra Commander
Reactive Armor Duke
Ice-Viper
Paris Pursuit Snake-Eyes
Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow
Reactive Armor Scarlett

Collection 2, Wave 2:
Cover Girl
Deep-Six
Reactive Armor Heavy Duty
Sgt. Stone

Collection 1, Wave 3:
Accelerator Suit Duke
Reactive Armor Ripcord
Arctic Snake-Eyes
The Doctor
Paris Pursuit Baroness
Arctic Storm Shadow
Para-Viper

Collection 2, Wave 3:
Flash
General Hawk
Crimson Neo-Viper
Eel
Elite-Viper
PIT Commando
Helix

After that, the line gets into the more traditional wave system, with just a Wave 4 without Collections consisting of:
Kamakura
Charbroil
Red Fang Ninja
Nano-Viper
Night Adder

Right now, the furthest I've seen has been wave 2's. Collection 2's wave 2 is abundant, however Collection 1's is unbelievable scarce. No signs of either wave 3's, depressingly enough.

I can't complain. According to Jay's handy dandy list, I have seen all the waves and collections and what nots except for Wave 4. Collection 1, Wave 3 hit my TRU a couple of days ago. I picked up Reactive Armor Ripcord and Acc. Suit Duke just today. I went by hoping beyond hope to find the Arctic Snake Eyes and the Para-Viper and to take advantage of the 2 for 11 dollar sale they got going on.

Down here in TX it has been so hit and miss that I can never tell how the distributor is parceling stuff out. For example I have found the Helix wave, and gotten the Acc. suit Duke. But have never even seen the ROC Paraviper or Doctor on the pegs anywhere.
This topic baffles me on account of the fact that there are both collections and waves.
Wow, that's complicated!

Off the top of my head, I know I've seen all of C1:W1, C2:W1, C1:W2, and C2:W2. Never seen any of C1:W3, and from C2:W3, I've only seen Hawk and the Eel. Is Wave 4 even out yet? I've certainly seen none of it.

As a side note, this topic is the first time I've realized that "reactive armor" and "accelerator suits" are apparently two different things. I even saw the movie, but this entire time, I've simply thought the names were interchangeable. I figured in the Paris scene, Duke and Ripcord were just wearing slightly souped-up reactive armor with helmets.

That's what happens when everything your characters wear in the field is black!! How about some color variety next time?!?

I'm not too worried about figures showing up, they will eventually.

My complaint is really simple: WALMART JUST DISTRIBUTE THE TOYS ALREADY!!!!

Thank you, that is all.

As far as I know, wave 4 is not out yet.

Well, the new Pursuit Of Cobra subset should make you happy, for it is split into four thematic genres: Urban, Jungle, Arctic and Desert.
GeneralsJoes has a full page featuring all the upcoming releases of the line:
http://generalsjoes.com/g-i-joe-the-pursuit-of-cobra-superpage/

There's a LOT of awesome toys in there. A few characters repeating get a bit redundant (Duke features in three of the four themes) but with a quick headswap these could make new ROC-verse versions of other characters, or even your own original creations.

Just visited the ToysRus near Everett Mall in Washington state. Picked up most wave 2 and 3. Got a few docs just for good measure ;-) And 2 for $10 which was nice.... and driving back into Canada... no duty baby! Woot! what a fine day.
