Micheal "Duke" Bell revealed that he had auditioned for a new GIJOE cartoon as the character Hawk. the series would run 26 episodes.
I would post the link but there is some profanity in the interview.
He also revealed there would be a new transformers cartoon as well.
He thought that auditioning for Duke wouldn't work as he has aged a bit, so he auditioned for Hawk".

Joe cartoon, has auditioned for the role of General Hawk in an all new, 26 episode G.I. Joe series! With a veteran voice actor auditioning, who else will return from the Sunbow days?
No word yet on styling, the audience this cartoon will be aimed at, animation studios involved, and screenwriters yet. If anything we've got an all new cartoon series to look forward to! "
