That's right......A Classic Never goes out of style, and here's one that only the brave have built ( my parents built this from a magazine when I was but a small child and it's what got me into dio building). And after YEARS of searching for the files I found it at last, and want to share it with everyone, Some of you may have seen this, but for those who haven't I Give you.......THE MOTHER OF ALL DIO PROJECTS!!!!!

Woman's Day project from the late 70's, right? I remember seeing it a book at a library years ago.
There were some Empire Strikes Back inspired ones, too.
Of course, nowdays building such things is silly. What with all the cool ready-made playsets you can go in stores and buy, especially the Star Wars ones.

I say if you've got the talent, materials, and time go ahead and build it. I think it'd look pretty neat.
DAMN! Some serious time and materials going into that one. But I bet if you made it well, it'd survive a bomb blast! Maybe kids, even.

You could probably do alot of it out of thick foam core and same time. Also be easier to work with for us without all the cool tools. It has inspired me for an Idea for a cobra base. Maybe on the Second tuesday of next week I will have a bit of time to work on it. Great pics. I am going to copy and save those.
