The Outrider Challenge

Haven't had too many takers over the last couple of months for ToC, I figure it had to do with the fact that list wasn't easy to find, so if Sonne or Hammer could stick-a-fy this, it'll be easliy found.

You mission, should you choose to accept it, is to take the topic at hand, take a few related photos and post them on their assigned weekends. Good luck and have fun.

May 22nd and 23rd - The Outrider Challenge. As a bit of a dedication to one of the site's most popular members, rather than take your own picture and dedicate it to Craig, find one of Craig's pictures and try to duplicate it, sorta like the Round Robin we just did.

May 29th, 30th and 31th - Memorial Day. Paying tribute to those who serve, to those who have served and especially to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

June 5th and 6th - Pick a Year. Take all the figures and vehicles you have from a single year and set them up. Mind you, this is the figures and vehicles from a specific year, not just the character.

June 12th and 13th - Couples. June is supposedly the most romantic month for some reason, let's see your Joes hooking up.

June 19th and 20th - Crossover. Have your Joes interacting with figures, etc from other lines

June 26th and 27th - Training. Let's see your Joe or Cobras going through some drills, training for their next fight.

July 3rd and 4th - The USA's Independence Day!

July 10th and 11th - This Is Me. Take a picture of yourself with your Joes and Cobras.

July 17th and 18th - Subteams, here's a LIST (http://www.yojoe.com/action/subteams/) of the sub-teams.

There is no "signing up." You just take a picture of the topic and post it on the weekend shown. Anybody and everybody can get in on this.

This is fun. I had a frustrating good time trying to make my Dreadnoks stand with 20mph wind gusts.

Now onto snipers and deciding how many night shots can I do vs day shots.

I know I need to get my ass in gear and get back to it! So I am setting a goal to get one posted on the Outrider dedication weekend! We all know how much Craig loved it when I remade one of his shots using modern era figures. LOL :D

Just fyi, Hammerfel is working on getting a new section up (The Outrider Challenge). The section is good to go, but not on 1st page yet. I am currently (and slowly) moving TOC pics to the next section. In theory, this will allow the community and Deana a chance to see the tributes to her husband in one quick shebang.

For further TOC pics, please place accordingly.

so... will the ToC photos only be viewable from the ToC section? (the one from the link)? OR will those photos ALSO be viewable from the photo section? :confused:

I've wondered about this too, and to me it seems things started slowing down after losing our friend, Outrider.

My suggestion is to change the name of thise challenge. Maybe return it back to something generic, such as Weekend Warrior, or just "Weekend Theme Challenge".

The Flatline photo recently showing a Techno-Viper being blocked from entering someplace by a Black Legion got me thinking again about these challenges, a theme suggestion I have would be "Revenge of the Tech" (tech being generic not limited to Techno-Vipers, or Joe specialists, or Joes). After all, can you imagine that Techno-Viper getting angry and returning with a squad of BATs?

What happens when other techs become angry? Mainframe getting upset with Hawk, programming the toaster to talk, to pester Hawk how he wants his toast? (think Red Dwarf here)
