I didin't know Craig all that well. What I did know was that he was one of the best diorama makers this site has ever had. I PM'd Craig when he got out the hospital and the operation didn't work. In that PM was a warm caring and down to earth person. I will never understand the reason why God takes the good people in life and leaves the bastards untouched.Craig fought his illness with courage and bravery and the biggest thing of all; dignity.Craig touched so many people on this site and beyond. He was truly a blessing sent by heaven to bless us with his skills, his humor, his comararadie, and most of of all his love for his fellow man. It is hard for all us to fathom this. This is a tremendous loss. However. one thing that we can take away from this is that he is not in pain anymore and is finally at peace. Another fact is that is that he will never be forgotten. He will live in our hearts and minds forever. I will always remember him for that kind pm he sent me. Craig you will never be forgotten by us. May your body and soul be at peace. And know that you will be missed by many my friend; but you will never, ever; be forgotten. Russ Spencer

Agreed. He was a incredible man and a wonderful guy.

I never personally met him either but he was one of the greatest people to go t about critique and how to improve shots.

I really didn't know him at all but until today I hadn't realized the seriousness of his condition. I had seen all the outrider tributes and assumed he was sick and thought it was a great show of support, but not having known him previous I never tried to get involved I never realized how bad it was until the announcement, my condolences to everyone who knew him.

Well put. It's great how someone who lives a world away can be such an inspiration to others, just because of a shared hobby. I only PM'ed Outrider once or twice, but he always had positive things to say when he commentd on my pics, even ones with his hated 25th Anniversary figures.

I didn't even know he Passed until I saw the Pic's,and then read this.I'm sure going to miss Him,and it's not going to feel the same without him that's for sure. You could alway's count on Craig for a kind word, and some Great advise on how to take better Pic's.And he would always take time to help me anytime I asked him for help, and would take the time to really answer my questions in detail.Everytime I got online the very 1st thing I would do is check to see if Craig had any new Pic's up,and he NEVER Disappointed when he did.I really learned alot from Craig, and most of the custom touches on my Figures & Vehicles came straight from his Collection. We both shared a great Love for the O-Ring Joes, and never came around to the new style Figures. And I was very Happy to join the all O-Ring Club on Flickr, anytime there was a place I could see more Outrider Pic's I was down. There's no Doubt he was the BEST at what he did.He loved this Hobby of ours, and took it to a level the rest of us can only dream of reaching. And I know he'll still be looking down at all of our work, and wishing us the best.Just like rds said,it just doesn't seem fair that Craig was taken away from his Family & Friends way to soon.I'm Glad I got to know Craig, and was fortunate to have him as my Friend. You will be Missed Craig, and will never be Forgotton.Rest Easy my Friend, your Brave Battle here is now over..
