How do I......??

I need some professional help (well, besides THAT kind! :p ) I took my 1st pics to post here but they are all apparently too big. All over the 2.0mb that I'm allowed. What do I do to fix this problem???? :confused:

Any help is appreciated.........

Scarlett, you need to use your photo editing software to alter the size and perhaps quality of your pics. I don't know what software you have, but most will have the option of File/Resize, which allows you to set the picture to say 800 x 600 pixels. Also, when you save your picture (as a jpeg file, not a bmp), you should have an option to alter the quality of the picture. The lower the quality, the smaller the kb of the file. Hope that helps! :)

Thanks Outrider! I have Adobe Photoshop 3.0, but I also saved them on my Photobucket site. I'll check them both out & see what I can do! I hope to psot tonight!!

I'm an underground dioist which bascially means, I dont' have my own site to host my stuff. I get people's emails (send to ME at SunCe4@gmail.com) and reply back with the dios. I have 3.75" and I have S6. At one time, I had a lot of the 3.75" dio for 'free' viewing at JoeDebriefed.com but some weird technological things happened and I wasn't able to show my fotos there (even tho they were originally hosted thru Photobucket).

I find that sometimes not only resizing but shooting in a lower pic size.. my camera has around 5 or 6 different picture sizes.
I don't usually mess or meddle with the picture quality.. I try and get it right first time and prefer the originality of the shot.. I also need to practice loads on photoplus.

Hey Scarlett you could try resizing the images like suggested. I resized some of mine for my happy holidays diorama and some of them worked out better that way.
