I have seen the new Green Lantern figures, as I'm sure most everone else here at JD.com. I am very disappointed by the lack of critical articulation, especially for a product by mattel. I have noticed the articulation is a little bit more than that of the old Kenner Star Wars figures from the 70s and 80s. The only articulation in the 3 3/4 figs is in the shoulders, waist, hips and possibly the head (can't tell very well). I mean, no elbow or knee joints, come on. The only GL figures to have the best articulation are the 9 inch (?) figures. Please everyone, don't rush out and spend $8.00 or more for a figure that can be a lot better. Thanks for your time.

The wide assortment of alien GL's really "looks" cool, but appearances are definitely deceptive. It is really a shame that Mattel did such a crappy job on these figures. Nearly every other 3 3/4" figure out there has much better articulation. Hasbro has set the standard and Mattel dropped the ball on this one.
I guess it's a good thing for me personally. :D I won't have to worry about splitting my toy budget between GI Joe and anybody else.

They look like crap. Pretty unacceptable quality from Mattel especially when they already make two of the best toy lines on the market.

I would like to say that I am glad I'm not the only one disappointed with the GL figs.

my two boys love them and have been seeing a ton of play without complaints of legs getting loose,heads/hands popping off, they all fly,no vehicles needed great toys for kids not so much for collectors.

I will agree with you Django, that the GL figures are great for kids, but sorely lacking for collectors and dio-ers.

By todays standard the little ones still look like Mcdonalds toys when compared to other 1:18 (or thereabouts) offerings. As for the Movie Masters series that is aimed at collectors the aliens look decent enough but the humanoid characters are very gangly and disproportional.

They would be great of kids if they were priced accordingly. The fact that they a priced higher than the Captain America figures in some places makes them a total crap-burger.
