I like how they have 8 or 9 shipwrecks running around on one of the flaggs and how one has a white patch of gravel for Snow Job to ski on. These are awesome. I remember drooling over the Joe pages in the toy section of the Sears catalog at my grandmother's house.

Back when the Flagg was only $125, good times. I remember X-mas lists having page #s and letter/numbers on it for what we wanted.

1) Why Clutch drives a F.A.N.G.!? :)
2) Note that the U.S.S. Flagg prototype was higher then the final one product.

Thanks for the cool tip NJ!

Man, now that Halloween is here today, the Holiday Season has officially started!!

Love looking at these old catalog pics - they truly were the ORIGINAL DIOS that inspired us all to set up equally cool shots of our own I think! :D

I remember Fred Savage's character burying his "dead" Joes. How cool would that be, buying a house and finding a Joe graveyard in the back.

I tried google-ing those catalogs, but didn't have any success NJ. :(

Is there any way that you could get some scans of them posted up to this thread or maybe somwhere else on this site? Or even a link would be awesome!

I know :( - I'm afraid nothing will ever quite capture that same type of magic again.

Except maybe looking these old catalog pages over again....or if we could just get her up to 88 mph ;)

Oh man, that takes one back... to the time when I was a ten years old kid, browsing through those catalogs... They did catalogs with big dios like that for five years in a row, and it was those that really got me hooked on the toys. I've still got them all (and often multiple copies too). Good times...

I just watched/skimmed through this movie on Netflix - he sure did have a lot of Joes - like 3 Thunders and 2 Dragonflys! It was cute how he put camo on Max the dog's forehead! :)

Wow - the first link really makes the Sky Patrol vehicles look cool and the second link is even better showcasing the mean dog & those little single-serve dios with Mercer & Storm Shadow, The IMPs on the bridge, The Hydro-Viper hide-out!

Thank you SOOOOOO much NJ!!! Christmas came a few days early for me - I'll be sifting through these bad boys for hours! Thanks again so much!! - A true rare find these are! :D
