I don't know if you can really get a good sense of it, but this was a rather large spider web that had been spun over one of the shrubs in my front yard. At least I spotted it BEFORE walking through it!!!!

OK here's a couple of my photos of the week. Over the weekend my wife and I decided to hit a few yard sales. I figured it would be a chance to find some joes. Instead I got a 55 gal fish tank, so my fish packed their bags and moved from the 10 gal.
My African Cichlid. Neat fish and the color is beautiful. I'm considering getting a few more in different colors. My Striped Raphael Catfish (he's nocturnal hunter and I guess a little camera shy) A very cool fish he's also known as a "talking catfish" he grinds the bones of its pectoral fins whichs makes a crooking sound. Really awesome shocked me the first time I heard it. Rainbow Shark This is a fish with an identity crisis. He isn't a shark at all, but a loach. And he seems to like to hang out with the Raphael Catfish. Even after moving them to the bigger tank. And since we're posting insect pictures here's one I took a few weeks ago while out shooting my Vipers |
