Lowjacked and I was discussing this awhile back. When the change was made for a ARAH section. It should of been G.I.Joe,Latest Photo(all other 1:18 scale toys) Dio-stories/photonovel,Collections, and a Custom sections.

Well I believe the Diorama section should be used for the stories and the dioramas. But just shots, no.

Probably you guys are talking about Fabio Betsa, just drop them a PM with some tips and problem solved.

I have noticed that this is an on going problem. Due to mass photo flooding and double and triple posting of the same photo, I have probably deleted 20 pics in the last weekend alone.
I do visit the site several times a day and try to keep a handle on stuff like this, but due to thanksgiving and traveling, it was harder to stay on top of it.
I think one of the main problems is that the rules that are currently posted are unclear in many areas. I also think that a recent membership surge and many new members who may not use English as a first language can lead to further complications.
So I'll be revamping the rules and posting a new thread to help clear up some of the confusion, as well as posting the rules in Spanish.
I think when new members join up, they can't wait to post all there pics and I'm sure they have quite a few saved up on there computer. They probably post before they really get into the forum. So like ToneGuns said, just drop them a note and direct them to the new rules, once there posted. I'll clean up the current mess and once the new parameters of each section are more clearly defined, I'll delete photos in the wrong section as necessary.
I don't like having to play the mean guy and immediately having to delete new member's stuff. But hopefully some more clearly defined rules will help with the problem.
Thank you all for posting in this thread. It let's me know I'm not the only one who feels the same way. If there are more instances like this and I don't seem to be on the seen, feel free to drop me a pm. There forwarded to my phone so I can immediately pop on over and see what's up.
Thank You,
Hb

I had actually done that and he still did the flood pic thing afterwards. Though I didn't try to translate it. But it wasn't just him (but the major pic flood thing was) but the whole posting the picture in the wrong section wasn't just him alone that was brought me up with the whole topic.

Perhaps he deactivated the e-mail alarm when a PM is recieved. I've also wondered 'bout why are there photos that belongs on the photo section on other sections. I agree on the multi-lang rules, it's a nice detail, when the new rules are ready I could help translating them to spanish (if time's available :p ). Maybe to encourage people to read the rules, you could include something like "please be polite and read the rules (plus the link)" with the e-mail that is sent after the registration.
I know many will pass them, but it's a costless way to prevent. In the meantime the "PM with the link" option is great

Yea I just copied and pasted what Hardball had said about the three pic limit in the IM as I did on his pic where he said sorry. But yea they should be included in the rules to help people know or someway to not let people add more pics after three have been done.

I agree, but...

Maybe there are too much sections now. 6 are too much for me. 3 or 4'd be the optimum i.m.o...

temedoro15 11-30-2010 10:15 AM

I think the categories are just fine: diostories, o-ring legacy exclusive, general photos, collection (or show off, not as a part of a diorama) and files. (well, and the Outrider homage section). But if starwars, marvel, lego, startrek, etc... and other categories are added, then the site will become one of those forums with endless sections. In my opinion, ARAH and general photos could be in the same place, as before, but well, it was created for a reason.

The only thing needed is a better description of each, I still have no clue on whether the diostories section is exclusive for dios with dialogue globes or is it ok to put there a normal series of diophotos to tell a small story without dialogues?
