I made an error. In my previous post, I had not purchased the rescue mission exclusive. I did that today. Whatever it was with the mole pod, it was an exclusive from TRU. It's got that neo-viper officer.

Today, I finally did score on the rescue mission exclusive from Target. Snake Eyes in it looks good. Duke is kinda weird, and the neo-vipers are kinda blue.

Also finally got a gunship. I like it, and it'll need a new paint scheme.

Also found the ROC Storm Shadow arctic assault varient.. the one with his head uncovered.

As I have for the last month or so I headed to my local TRU this morning for the 9 AM toy stampede and once again no scalper guy but lots of empty exclusive holes as evidence of his latest buy out of yet again another weeks worth of exclusives. :mad: Unfortunately no Pit Commandos for me today and I think I have had my fill of Elite Vipers for now so, needing to get my toy fix for the week, I picked up a Joe Senior officers pack for the hell of it! On my way out I decided to head over to another TRU here in town because my Joe fix just wasn't satisfied Yet.
Bingo, finally scored me a Bench Press! Although they had alot of the Snow Serpents as well I passed on em. I have so many of the other ones I didn't really see the need to get more just for a camoflage suite instead of the light grey one.

Well so long Scalper scum and Failed at life toy store manager, I am done with you for now! Next week the Scuba Squad sets it's sites on Target and the elusive Rescue Mission set!

Congrats on getting a Bench Press. I need to find one here too. Want to army build those Snow Serpents. They don't have anything like there here yet.

Went to Big Lots and snagged the new PTE bombed-out building! They also had some of the newer stuff as well as the old Command Post. It was $30. You get 6 Marines, an ATV, a motorcycle, and some other gear. Made me feel good after having a really bad day.

Carlito sent me a ROC Breaker since I never seen him around. I owe him a bunch of random doodads and goodies.

I checked TRU today for BenchPress and he was not there. :( So I bought some Hot Wheels cars for Thomas as well as a few... Well, you'll see. NOthing GI Joe related, mind you. lol

I finally had the money deposited in my account from the Blizzcon stuff I sold and managed to buy myself a PIT!!! That thing is wild. It has 6 pages of stickers and I swear there are 30 stickers that are NOT on the instructions! It has a cool storage bay in the bottom that has room for 4 nano warheads, the carrying case and this huge gun. It has bunks, monitors, trap doors....I'm gonna be playing with this for hours......errr...I mean making Dios for hours! ;) :D

Tonight Kris is gonna try to snag me a snarler cycle!

ok I may have burned another dio,er or tanker but I went after a reso. roadblock that was part a lot of five figures including that red/white stormie .stone a bizarre breaker (looks like a bearded duke head) and beach head.
in other news my Crimson strike team turned up . but with the fact I may be unemployed by next week didn't quite make their arrival as cool as it would normally be.

I didn't get a Joe thing and I prolly won't for awhile. Let me start with the background first.

When I was 8 or so, I started playing piano. Played classical stuff till I was about 15. Deciding that piano wasn't considered 'cool', I talked my parents into moving to

BASS. Everyone else was picking up on guitar, I chose bass to be not only different but the fact that with guys starting up bands, there were no bass players. My first bass was a Fender Squire. Bought a (CRAPPY) lil 15 watt amp to go with it. (YOu can find the same bass for about $150 or in package deals (amp, cord, case, picks, bass) usually available at any music store Which really means, my bass isn't worth crap! lol) I got the hang of it pretty quickly, played with the guys at school... But a 15w POS wouldn't work and the drummer who had a ton of gear; I used his. And it never gave a bass sound. Only a distorted sound the whole time.

Eventually, we made the dive and I got a Fender M80 which apparently a LOT of people have never heard of. It was an 80w 1-12" that was good but it couldn't keep up with the guitarist's 200w Crate Full Stack (which incidentally, is a POS. Therefore, Crate is pretty low on my list of companies).

I went thru a few more basses but I never quite liked anything else. My 1st bass was great. Stickers all over, chips in the neck, slight repainting here and there... Sometime in 2000, I sold the amp...

But wait, it's more confusing than that. After getting the bass in 10th grade, I got a classical guitar in 11th. THen a few random free electrics throughout college. Back to the story at hand, I was going thru electric guitars after college, trying to find what I liked. A buddy turned me onto the Line6 (digital) amps and I got a Spyder112.

9 years later... The classical sits in storage. I still play the electric (took years and a lot of dough to find the right guitar).

A couple weeks ago, me and my neighbor went down south to a music store just out of boredom on a weekend. I fiddled around with guitars as did he. Eric wanted to hear my play bass since he knew I had one around and I hooked one up.

OOPS.

The amp I played thru was awesome. A 30w bass amp that sounds good? I had already been scarred that a 15w sounds shallow. Surely a 30w couldn't be MUCH better but dizzzzzzzaaaaaaaam. That 30w sounded as good as my old M80! Now that I got my financial aid check, not only could I get gas and a few groceries, we went down today to pick up the Marshall MB30. I'm rather rusty on my bass playing, but it's coming back.

So if you want, check out what I picked up. It's a very good deal for this type of amp. Bought some more guitar strings as well as a metronome (since mine broke). Now I can bug my neighbor downstairs with my Primus covers and Maiden-oriented riffs and and and... I am on youtube. Find me as Sonneilon6. ;)

At AAFES I scored an Agent Helix and a Cover Girl. While I'm here I have a few ideas for some of the training areas around here to in-cooperate for dio backgrounds so I'm going to take some pics and when I get back to Bragg I'll see what happens.

This weekend was very good to me Joe-wise.

Did a run to TRU and got my hands on Bench-Press, Night Adder, the Cobra Senior Officers 3-pack, and the GIJoe Senior Officers 3-pack.

I didn't go hunting this weekend as there really is'nt much left for me to find. Earlier this week I picked up the Cobra Senior Officers 3-pack from TRU and the Target rescue mission set and that about does it for me for now!

Nothing for me in joes but found Darth Kyrat and WWE Roddy Piper, The Rock, and Kane finally (after an apparent restock at WM of series 2).
