Thanks guys, its much appreciated. My designation is EN1(SW) Settle or Engineman 1st Class Petty Officer Surface Warfare Settle or Petty Officer Settle or 1st class petty officer Settle. The chief insignia would have an arch closing around the top chevron below the eagle(like Shipwreck). I'm actually leaving the NAVY at my 20 1/2 year mark because I can't seem to get those anchors put on (E-7). I have even thought about changing my rate. My rate "Engineman" (which is the gear symbol above the chevrons) is pretty top heavy, I've done everything that I was supposed to do, have great evals, regiorous duties. But there are roughly 6000 EN1's that are trying to make Chief and only 10 - 15 are designated twice each year. Again, thank you very much for the kind words.
