I'm out

Haven't been on much at all. Just haven't cared. Haven't went looking for nay new Joes in months, haven't looked for them on ebay. Just don't care anymore. Its not the Joe world at all, its looking up, its other parts of life. I just don't seem to care about Joes anymore. The last 3 or so years, G.I. Joe has been my life once again. I have been so happy with everything. Even when I was out of work, I was totally happy. I don't or won't go into detail. i will drop by every so often to see whats going on. just don't think I will ever finish anything. I have 3 different dios I was working on, don't think they will ever be finished. It's been real fun, I have loved this place and it gave me a passion for Joes again. Like I said, I'll always be here, it's just time to fade out. It's been fun, and I think of you all as friends, this isn't goodbye(I hope), just later.

Take care

Take care dude. thank you for efforts and your creativity and your inspiration towards this fantastic hobby!
Bit of a shock to be honest as your dios didnt come across as not caring. I hope that whatever you do, you find joy in it and it works out well.
Regards
Rich

That's some bad news. I've been waiting to see you frag that traitor Duke for a long time. Now he'll never get what he deserves.

Self-Modifier 05-04-2009 10:00 AM

Wow, this is unfortunate! I'll be sad to see you go, Lehsreh. We always seemed to see eye to eye on most things (except our opinions of Duke, I guess :)).

Good luck in your future endeavors, and I hope we'll still see you around here once in a while!

Sonneilon 05-04-2009 11:01 AM

I had a feeling this was coming. When you want to come back, we'll be here. You know I'll always be around on the msgrs so... Hit me up if you want.

sound like your a bit burned out it might be a good idea for you to take a break.

don't throw anything out; just don't do anything involving Joes for a while

Jay 05-04-2009 12:31 PM

I know how you feel. Two years or so ago I was feeling kind of burned out from Joes. I ended up taking a break... but ultimately I couldn't stay away from all the creativity (customs 'n' dios) that this hobby offered me.

I have a feeling you might be back some time.

In the meantime, take care.

I agree with most that a break is a great thing, allows you to refocus and re-evaluate your position on what you want to do. However I hate when a break turns into "Never see you again." as has happened with many of my internet friends, so here is hope you find your way back. Whatever is going on, it could be worse.

neapolitan joe 05-04-2009 01:29 PM

Goodbye, my friend. :(

General Jones 05-04-2009 01:32 PM

Good Luck Hershel. Come back any time. You'll always be welcome.

Outrider 05-04-2009 02:15 PM

Life progresses, priorities change, but you always come back to what you love. At the end of the day, that creative urge won't be denied. Sometimes a break helps you come back stronger than ever.

Swindle 05-04-2009 04:50 PM

I always liked your stuff on here, lehsreh. :)

Black Knight 05-04-2009 05:19 PM

Peace out friend... see you around.

Scuba Steve 05-04-2009 06:34 PM

Good luck, with whatever you choose. I understand when burnout hits and there just seems to be more important things to do than this, but I hope to see you back here again someday!

EasySimpleStuff 05-04-2009 11:29 PM

Real life always has to come first, thats just the way it is. Everyone here knows that...So whatever you are going through I wish you good luck on it, and hope you get on top of things...

A brake, breather, halftime or whatever you want to call it is sometimes just the right thing to do to get other s#¤t together...

Meanwhile, take care and good luck!

Trench-Viper 05-05-2009 04:48 AM

Your dio stories were the best, too bad your not going to finish them because I would like to see where they were going. Good luck onward!

Dreadnok Dread 05-12-2009 11:31 PM

Hope all works out. I loved your G.I. Smurf stuff! Priorities are a must. I dont post as much because of life and being a stay at home dad I totally understand especially about the not working part been there for way to long. It makes looking for joes not so much fun. Peace meng.
