I was thinking more of someone with a darker in complexion for Road Block. More like Terry Cruise.
The Rock is cool, but only when there is a good surrounding cast. like the last Fast and the Furious.

I can deal with the ethnicity change; Hispanic Roadblock is just par for the course. But why Roadblock? They've already got Heavy Duty (RB character replacement as BIG guy that totes a minigun). Seems like Johnson would be a good fit for anyone else, too. Might as well cast him as Spirit; that'd be kinda cool.

Theres no ethnic change with him playing RB. He would make a good Charlie Ironknife, but theres other real Native Americans that could also play that role.

There's some ethnic change. Dwayne Johnson is half Samoan (Polynesian) and half African American (technically Canadian).

Doesn't bother me.

Heavy Duty's not gonna be in the movie, btw.

I agree Terry Would be awsome cuz I picture him as a Roadblock kind of guy kinda like his role in the movie The Expendables where he was a heavy weapons guy.

I think for Charlie Iron Knife Spirit they should have the main Native American from Windtalkers (Adam Beach)

The Rock would also look good playing Red Dog of Sgt. Slaughter's Renegades. (Hah! And you get two wrestlers too! :) )

I agree they should pull Sgt Slaughter out of retirement and get his @$$ in that movie ASAP :)

Not me. I hope Joe puts the WWF history FAR behind it. At the time, they insisted the WWF action was real, and some of my friends believed it. I was stunned.

I did like Sgt. Slaughter in the comics, however.

Heavy Duty was kind of extraneous in the movie, so that's good. The Rock will be fine. RB had a lot of tongue in cheek scenes/panels in the comic, which he can pull off, but Sic is right about the other actors marginalizing his po ;) or acting skills
