First off;

Just kidding! I just wanted to use that image! LOL!

As for using Testors paint, it comes out gooey at times. The best paint I have found to paint figures is the Games Workshop stuff they use on the WarHammer 40000 figures!

Before you start taking apart random figures, you need to make sure you have a clear idea of what you want the figure to look like and pick figures that look as close to that as possible. Nothing is worse than having 2,000 parts laying around and end up waiting for a month for a Duke V7 head! :eek:

The only things I would superglue is if I had ammo pouches from GoodtogoCustoms.com or something similar. Don't glue guns and helmets on!!

A screwdriver! DANG! That's what I been doing wrong all these years. I've been smashing Joes between two rocks and using spit to hold the pieces together. Thanks for the tip.

Why would anyone do customs? What's wrong with what Hasbro givs us???

most of the joes hasbro gives us either suck or we can't get our hands on.

I agree, Hasbro has never given us ANYTHING good, I think we should all band together and stop posting here. Night Creeper, you go first. Fight the power!

mainly my joes are all customs cause i hate most of the joes hasbro gave us. thats why i'm going to make customs out of the 25th anniversary joes except for stormshadow snakeeyes and the cobra vipers!

Sonneilon 02-25-2007 11:05 AM

Hmph. Most of the customs on JoeCustoms suck. now that dude Guan Ping on there, he's got some cooooool stuff but most of the stuff blows. If Hasbro doesn't do it themselves, then it's not canon! :P
