I First Of All Have To Say That My Sets. Are Simple, Nothing Like Some Of The Guys Here. Violentfix, Luke Ellison. Sonnelion, 5th Conspircy And To Many Others To Name......i Use For The Most Part House Hold Or Other Toy Line Set Pieces As Props. This One Is Differentthough. I Wanted To Push My Envelope. Here Is A Materials List....SOME WOODLAND SCEENEC GRASS, PEBBLES AND BUSHES. MOSS FROM WALMART. AND PTE BARRELS AND CRATES [IMG][/IMG]
NOW THIS FENCE WAS A FILTER I PULLED THE METAL OFF THE FIBER PART AND THE WIRE WAS FROM A PICTURE HANGING SET 1.99 AT TARGET [/IMG] THIS WAS A COOL SCORE IN MY BOOK I BELIVE ITS THE SAME THING VADER AND OUTRIDER USE. IT'S PLASTIC WITH RIDGE LIKE TEXTURE. USED FOR MODEL TRAIN SETS. THEN SOME ORDINARY SAND I GOT OUT OF SOME SAND BAGS.[IMG][/IMG] ABOVE IS SOME MORE TRASH I USED FOR MY SETS FOAM I GOT FROM WORK AND OLD PROPANE BOTTLES I FITTED WITH LILDECALS AND STICKERS....ENOUGH THOUGH NOW TO THE ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE SET. ILL JUST LAY IT OUT HOW I DID IT NO REAL "SECRETS" INVOLVED JUST DO WHAT YOU THINK LOOKS GOOD. [IMG][/IMG] LAY DOWN THE "WATER" I USE THE FOAM TO GIVE IT COLOR [IMG][/IMG] NOW I FORGOT TO MENTION I HAVE A BIG PIECE OF PLY WOOD ON THE KITCHEN TABLE. SO OVER LAP THEPLASTIC WATER AND COVER WITH DIRT, LIKE THIS [IMG][/IMG] NEXT IS THE GRASSY AREA THEY COME IN SHEETS LIKE THIS [IMG][/IMG] NOW JUST ADD THE BUSHES AND ROCKS (FROM MY WIFES GARDEN).ANY DETAIL THAT LOOKS GOOD TO YOU. THIS IS WHAT I DID [IMG][/IMG] THERE IS SOME INSTUCTION ON THE GRASS TO GIVE IT TEXTURE LIKE HILLS JUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS LASTLY IS THE YARD OF THE BUILDING HERE IS WHERE I USE THE OLF WIRE FROM THE FILTER AND PROPANE CANISTERS PROPS AND WHAT NOT |
