Comic Life vs. Comic Creator?
Hey.
Last year I picked up the first version of Comic Creator cheap on ebay. It's good for the simple projects I like. (I.e. My Trakker dio-story), but I just saw someone post some shots done with Comic Life on another board and I was pretty impressed. Is it worth getting? |
Sorry, i can't answer that. I have the understanding CBC went online only.

ONline only? Meaning no physical hardware to install? |
I use Comic Life for Mac. I think it is pretty good.

Comic Life
link coming soon |
What is this? I assume by the description that it might be a good way to diplay a Dio-Story to look like a comic book. If so, I might be interested in checking it out.

Ok, I checked that Comic Life stuff, because - to be honset, I was working on Comic Book Creator only because there was nothing better.
And finally - there IS! Since CBC went full online (or something... hard to say exactly for me...) - and nothing higher than v. 1.3 is available - which is at first - very old, then - not fully optimized and likes to crash - I was looking for something as an alternative. Thanks tho the above posts, I found the Comic Life and here's my impression: - works faster - weighs a LOT less than CBC and has MORE features - nice photo filter effects - full freedom in arranging frame layout of comic pages (a pain in CBC sinse you had only pre-built layouts available) - full freedom in resizing & rotating pictures (as above) - all ballons are now vectors + a load more options And much much more - so it's time (at least for me) to retire ol' pal named CBC and get to the Comic Life. No offence CBC, in your days you were a blessing, but... And besides, yeah, I'm still alive and into Joes AND still making dios, just finishing universtiy now, so have some things on my mind ;) |
