Can someone post a Sniper Shot?

I've searched this how to forum on this subject, and I really probably should know how to do this.. but i want your advice on how to do a sniper shot. :)

I've seen some done before, where by alot of the screen is black with a circle cut out, then you have the crosshairs in the middle an the range finder, almost like your looking through the scope right?

I was thinking something like that.. I want to practice doing these shots with my camera and using photo editing to do a good sniper shot.

Any help or advice offered is much appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

There are much better sniper pics that I have seen posted on the site. Much better than mine, that is.

I posted the view through the Night-Viper's goggle when he was trying to find Firefly. (He's not trying to kill him, just search for him...)

Firefly in the scope

This is low budget, not photoshop. That would be an old TP roll around ye olde camera lens. :)

If you search photos for crosshair, crosshairs, or cross-hair, I imagine you will get some hits. I'm sure others will chime in also.

my take on it
I used an actual sniper scope for the effect.
But as you can see, it could just as easily have been photoshopped.

One of the best sniper shots I've seen:

easy way is to take a normal pic, use the circle tool on photoshop to select the area, then use the paint brush to paint the outside black. then use the line tool to make the crosshairs. you can also make the shot look infer-red or green like night vision with photoshop. if you have photoshop and have used it you know what i mean, it will only take a min or 2.
