Why don't the bosses show up much???

Sonneilon. Administrator. I'm 34, in the civil engineering program at a tech school. I'm around, but not much. I comment a lot at once, then I'll disappear and just mod.









Lehsreh. Buff Daddy. He's around but... uh...

Lord Raven. ShaneOMac. He's around about as much as Lehsreh but he's taken the chores of Weekend Warriors.

Urban Sabateur. Bouncer. He's the guy who will notify of me crap going on and he has enough stroke to tell ppl to stop flooding or whatever.



Those 3 are unlegit legit mods in my eyes. Please respect the 5 of us. Thanks.

Yes I'm the person who will bombard you with "stop posting more than 20 pictures on the home page" :p not sure it qualifies me as bouncer ... terrorist and bomber i'll go with.. :D

I've been so stoked recently seeing the home page.. theres been some fantastic pictures being put up and thats got to be a great thing for the site!

I just think this 3 picture thing makes people choosey and by rights they will 9 times out of 10 pick their favourite/best 3 out of 10 shots. We're seeing a great turn of pictures put up and i'm super happy to see it.

I've not posted much up myself recently, but i have been busy buying GIJOE I'll put up a picture in the hauls thread when i receive them. :)

The mods should of course get respect, not only because they are in a place of authority but because they actually do that out of the goodness of their hearts - nobody here gets paid anything (correct me if I'm wrong here ? ). So its all good fun, that should set the presedens for acting accordingly and behave if a mod in any way shape or form arrives and gives an instruction.

Also some people here tend to self-police a bit, which is good as long as it doesn't go overboard.

Respect should of course also be given to other posters, people will have different views on things and tell others accordingly, but this site has a good tendancy to not go overbord on the negative and the trolling, (which I find is rare on any internet community) but rather focus on some constructive critsizm.

Personally I find this site filled with interesting people with great ideas, and is a nice escape from real life from time to time. Keep doing what you are doing guys, this place is awesome :)

I would just like to point out that Weekend Warriors is still mine, Lord Raven is merely doing me a huge favor and covering it for the month of May.

Personally "rank" to me is not all that important, I know who the senior members are, I know who the owner is, and I know who keeps things going in his place.... however I will treat any new member the same as I will treat Hammerfel, I respect ALL members, reguardless of their "rank", seniority, or "photo-ability".

Yeah, this is why I'm only back at JoeDios for the time being. It's the place I remember loving for the sheer awesomeness of its userbase. :D


This caught my attention... what is this "3 picture thing"? Is there a three picture a day limit now or something?

I have tried to reach Hammerfel but he does not get my private messages for some reason. He even sent me a message asking if I tried to reach him.. If one of you bosses could gvie him a message from me it would be great.

no man, not at all, there isn't a limit to the pictures per day you can post, we're just asking members to be mindful when posting that they only post at a maximum in 3 shots in succession.

as graham once noteably said that any pictures exceeding 6 or 7 shots .. why not collaborate it into a short story?? We just started the 3 picture posting limit so that collectively we get a bunch of brilliant pictures on the first page. :D
in the long term though the whole site will benefit by having better pictures.. as I pointed out above if you have 5 shots and only have a 3 picture limit, you can still post 5 just pick 3 first and then post the other 2 later :)

i check in every day, not as much as i use to and not as long. but with a new job that has 12 hours and rotating shifts its hard to get into a rhythm. i havent even gotten to work on my outrider dios. i have some shots, but ive had those for 3 months now. its something i really want to get back into, but this damn everyday life wont let me play like a kid anymore.:)

Such is the burden we all face :(
