Monochromicity is the least of its problems. The fact remains it's hardly a headquarters. Everything is exposed and nothing is linked together.
Remember how with the Conquest Of Cobra Mountain playset, there was really no way to actually GET to the throne or the cage? No stairs, ladder, anything?
The PIT is like that... times a hundred.
