GI Joe has been dealing with knock offs since they released him in the sixties. The point brought up about GI Joe costing more than Chap Mei is a valid point. Give the kid something that costs less money and serves the same purpose. And the other point, do real kids still play with GI Joe? Or are they marketed to "Big" kid collectors. GI Joe is a cultural icon that has re-invented itself many times over. I don't expect Chap Mei will be given it's own Hollywood Blockbuster anytime soon.
