Well, I'm with the adult collector idea. GI Joe is a product of the '80's. No matter how much the update the action figures, the fact remains that they will be "our" toys. Kids these days want something more modern. Give them an XBox 360 with Kinnect, and they will be thrilled for the rest of their lives. They want the video games, skateboards, bmx bikes , etc etc, etc.

If they marketed the action figures for the true market, they could make a killing. Quit marketing to the kids with stupid things like "spring loaded rockets". The true market does not want those. And let's face it, when it comes to GI Joe and transformers, we, the adults, are the true market. We are the ones that can make or break Hasbros GI Joe and Transformer lines.

Chap Mei and Soldier Force are just means to an end. The kids get them because they are cheaper, but we get them because the accessories are great for our toys. If you want to be concerned about where GI Joe is going, then start sending your letters and emails in telling Hasbro who the real market is. When enough are sent, they will start marketing them properly.
