Any suggestions?

What type of grass are you looking for? Something really tall? Razor grass?

Model train stores have the scenic grass that looks pretty good. I havent worked with it but a buddy does for his train scenes and it looks good. He says its easy to use to.

If there's something like a Hobby Lobby near you, they would have a section near the models for diorama's. Such things as snow and water kits, desert, grass. The grasses come in various lengths. There are other supplies that would be handy too. This would be my first choice. This chain of craft/hobby store tend to have sales every day, a different set of items are on sale in different days. I think every thursday "home decor" items are on sale, which includes all glass things, wood items, etc. Models and diorama stuff might be on a wednesday. Typically 30% off (at least here it's like that). Check their web site for info.

Warhammer stuff is a good way to go I used to work alot with those models and I would use it, but only the tall grass. it's meant for detail use and I don't think it would work on a large scale project, so keep that in mind
