I don't know if you can really get a good sense of it, but this was a rather large spider web that had been spun over one of the shrubs in my front yard. At least I spotted it BEFORE walking through it!!!!

this might be an old topic but i couldn't resist posting these pics...this was our trip to the hardmen plantation in sautee Ga. about 2 miles away from my house this house was built in 1869
THIS IS THE OLD ROAD WAY LEADING UP TO THE HOUSE  HERES A FAR OFF SHOT OF THE ROAD WAY  AND HERE'S A SHOT OF THE HOUSE ITSELF

1) The thread's not 'old' by any stretch of the imagination.........it's labeled 'Pic of the Week', that means that you can post on it weekly if you like!! 2) When the pics are as fabulous as the ones you've just posted up.........don't EVER be sorry for that!!! OK here's a couple of my photos of the week. Over the weekend my wife and I decided to hit a few yard sales. I figured it would be a chance to find some joes. Instead I got a 55 gal fish tank, so my fish packed their bags and moved from the 10 gal.
My African Cichlid. Neat fish and the color is beautiful. I'm considering getting a few more in different colors.  My Striped Raphael Catfish (he's nocturnal hunter and I guess a little camera shy) A very cool fish he's also known as a "talking catfish" he grinds the bones of its pectoral fins whichs makes a crooking sound. Really awesome shocked me the first time I heard it.  Rainbow Shark This is a fish with an identity crisis. He isn't a shark at all, but a loach. And he seems to like to hang out with the Raphael Catfish. Even after moving them to the bigger tank.  And since we're posting insect pictures here's one I took a few weeks ago while out shooting my Vipers  Last edited by Blowtorch : 08-15-2007 at 04:21 AM. |
