Default Starship Trooper/GI Joe book connection....

OK posted this same thread over on JoeCustoms and thought I'd throw it over here for debate as well......

Got Starship Troopers novel from the libraray.... and the image shows

Doesn't that dropship (maybe?) look a little similar to the Night Attack Chopper

well the cockpit and the missile launchers on the wing parts anyways..... :shifty:

And also found.....
another book the artist has done.....

Thumbs up Night Attack Chopper.

What can we say? The Night Attack Chopper had a good design...

They just copy our best chopper after the Tomahawk.

Yes, the Mobile Infantry is the GI Joe of the future.

Lightbulb Starship Troopers.

...and the people that made the costumes for "Starsip Troopers"'movie made the costumes for "G.I.JOE: Rise of Cobra" too.

There's definitely a connection. Anyone know the dates of the artwork? Then we'd know who's copying who.

Starship Troopers is my all time favorite book. On the other hand, the movie was the worst adaptation ever made.
