Big Lots! Woot!

Went to Big Lots twice last week, didn't find any Joes. Went to Big Lots today, found Joes! Bought a bunch. Finally got a Zartan with that little .. thingy.. looks like a box on ski's.

So if you went to your Big Lots and didn't find Joes, keep checking b/c maybe they just didn't get them out on display at your location when you looked. Might be out now, or will be soon.

I've been getting some good stuff lately.

Water Moccasin in almost perfect shape, just missing the canopy and the tie rod between the steering vanes.
Perfect v1 TomaxamoT with guns, string and zip-cord handle and file card.
Perfect Keel-Haul v2. Actually I got two because I forgot I bought one from eBay and one from a collector (one went on to Zombie John).
A couple of Urban Camo painted Cobra troopers. I was supposed to get three, but the guy ran out and gave me a blue shirt, but I need a couple more Urban guys.

I haven't been buying much since the lull in the Joes at the stores. Over the last month or so I've scored a lot of repeats and some new things. Got multiples of what most ppl here have.. ROC Destro and Baroness, mostly for my diostory which I am still in the design stage of -- customs for it.

But I did manage to buy two Iron Mongers, all four of the Prince of Persia figures, and a few micromen and things for customs. SmallJoes is great for that.

It's getting to a point that I'll start posting about my own customs as new booty.

Went to Marshalls hoping to score some of the coveted Resolute troopers. Managed to get a Resolute Duke...and went back this afternoon and scored 3 of the Viper/Iron Grenadier Comic 2 packs! SWEETNESS!!

Scored eight 25th Eels from Ender.
Never had any desire to get these guys. I have no natural water around me, so aquadic pictures are almost impossible unless it rains, and it just doesn't do that enough in Phoenix. I got two Eels in a lot and thought about selling them off, then I saw how cool they were and decided to trade with Frank. So now I've got ten 25th Eels and one RoC Eel as their squad leader.
