Since I gotten some comments on my background from this photo thought I could show everyone what it really looks like. In reality it looks like this.....

First let's start with what I call the frame. This was actually part of a dresser drawer. You may remember it from this photo or this one. Next step is add dirt (sand in this case) rocks and plant life. The plants here are onion plants. I also got a bag of moss around Halloween time and it works pretty good. It's pretty simple and if need be you can move things around to change it up.
I built for my Star Wars dio for two reason one I didn't want to take photos in the snow, and two I needed a somewhat alien plant.
I've seen other members do this sort of thing before, and it thanks to them that I got this idea.

I used goofy fish tank seagrass for my static dio. I think I bought 3-4 of those horrific plastic things and yet, they work. I haven't ever done an indoor 'outdoor' shot simply cuz it's easier for me to go out and do it. *shrug* But that doesn't mean I'm not willing to try.

I can see where a set up like that would be really useful for night shots in particular. Last time I ventured outside to take some night pics I was eaten alive by mosquitos, an experience I definitely didn't enjoy. And plastic fish tank plants....hmmm, hadn't thought of that one. Thanks for the ideas, guys!

This is slick. I was thinking about doing something like this for a "How-To" but you beat me to it! Awesome! Looks great.

Are those airsoft guns on the wall? Cause that Desert Eagle is tight. Oh and nice set up too :P.
