Re: 1986 A.V.A.C. (v1 - Both Variants)
Great set. All the greys look good together. With the exception of the mail-in I got, he was an expensive figure to army build
The head on this guy was small but he was a great figure and details like the braces on the feet showed Hasbro was still thinking about realistic features.
What was the terrordrome at retail in 86?

Thanks! He does get pricey to find complete and in good shape the silver seems to wear off and chip, I have these two, a mail-in MIB and about 4 others in various conditions. The Terrodrome was part of the 86 Series, I must have pulled that ticket from Toys R Us a million times and knew exactly what I got on Christmas Day when I saw that big box wrapped ! I beleive the AVAC was a creation of the cartoon that Hasbro brought to life, I still hope they make a two seater Firebat like they had in the cartoon.

I'm pretty sure the Firebat and AVAC were Hasbro designs the toon has access to early, Hasbro hadn't decided how they were gonna release them yet. Sparks was another one, intended to be a figure but cancelled and written out of the show.
Rewatch The MASS Device, you can see proto-Rattlers, water moccassins, SHARC's, and IIRC, zartan's chameleon.
We all know that Flint, Crimson Guard, Shipwreck, Snake Eyes V2, Lady Jaye , the Dreadnoks and flight pods showed up in Revenge of Cobra in fall of 1984, months before their toys.

Thanks for the info Lava, it is like what came first the chicken or the egg? Just recently I saw an episode were an AVAC was piloting a Rattler, I think it was the episode where the Rattler crashed into the log cabin...that was probably a year or so before AVAC came out, that what lead me to think they created him.
