Street Fighter Movie
Nightfighter Guile
Night Recon Commando
Circa 1994
Street Fighter has been part of G.I. Joe history since the early 90s. They first started off as various GI Joe and Ninja Force sculpts with retooled heads. They either included a spring action missile launcher or a action attack feature. In 1994 with the Street Fighter movie in theaters and G.I. Joe fading into the shadows Hasbro released a set of figures and vehicles using older Joe and Cobra molds with more movie accurate head sculpts of action star Jean Claude Van. Several versions of Colonel Guile were released in different camouflage patterns and environmental uniforms taken from several different G.I. Joe molds.
Here we have Nightfighter Guile who is basically a 1991 Snake Eyes body with a retooled head. He includes the same sub machine gun and katana that came with the 91 Snake Eyes as well as a battle stand, helmet and bow and arrow launcher. The helmet is actually that of the DEF figure Bullet Proof and the Col. Guile head may in fact be a retooled Bullet Proof head sculpt.
I actually never even heard of these figures till recently and couldn't resist picking a few up. They are not too expensive being extremely hard to find and will look great on a shelf loose or unopened.

Devistator
w/ Sagat
The Devistator is the muscle of Bison's forces its fast, armored and carries a payload of rockets. The Devistator might be familiar to you as it is simply a retooled 1985 Snow Cat. The tank was retooled again in 2003 as a Toys R Us exclusive sound attack Snow Cat. As far as I know the vehicle is complete. I picked it up at a Comic shop for $12! I also found the driver Sagat there separate. The Devistator features rolling wheels, opening canopy, adjustable steering wheel, removable engine panel, rotating and elevation missile launcher with four surface to air missiles. As an added feature the vehicle includes a spring action rocket launcher on the launcher itself. The vehicle holds eight figures total.
Sagat is the lucky driver of this beast and while I am a little puzzled why anyone would roll into battle driving a Devistator wearing only boxers. I guess most men run at the sight of Sagat manly eye patch and festering chest scar. Sagat does not include any weapons that I am aware of but he does have a spring action feature in the arms. Sagat is an imposing character but I don't see a use for him in Cobra after Bison's defeat at the hands of Guile. Sagat's head sculpt was used to make Demolisher a new Deadnok in 2004 Convention set.

I have a Navy SEAL guile that came as part of a big lot a few years ago. I think he's complete. His black helmet unfortunately is cracked, probably as a result of what you already explained here - his head is just too damn big for his headgear. I think a good custom snake eyes could be made from night fighter guile.

Your absolutely right Marty. I use the Night Fighter Guile as Snake Eyes too and the Mortal Kombat Lou Kang as Storm Shadow. I'll be reviewing Mortal Kombat figures very soon.
