Well, I think I have picked up my last 25th figures, I bought a Comic Pack Fred & Scar last night, and while I kind of like the 25th CG's I found Fred's helmet barely covers his head, I can deal with that. Scar, however, couldn't hold his gun with both hands (with all of the articulation I thought he should) and his hand popped out of his arm, and now barely stays in. I'm very disappointed. :mad:

I love the Big Ben it comes with, a lot better than the original green version(too dark IMHO) and the lighter colored versions!

So how do the BAT, Snow Serpent, and Hawk measure up? Those are the only ones I'm interested in getting, so color me jealous.

[COLOR=Red]the snow serpent is my favorite figure so far, but i think the bat is the best made. this is because his arms bend to a great 90 degree angle, and the manboobs arent noticeable.

sadly im not a big fan of the hawk figure. he has more movement at his cheat, but something about his sculpt doesnt look right. hes to square or something. im not sure if ill be using him or the arah version. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red]got my desert scorpion, drop zone and gristle, i paid 6.50$ for these 2, which is great as drop zone never goes fr under 10.00$ a 25th comic pack stormy. got the electric eel, convention zartan(only 2000 were made), firefly, agent faces and headman for a total of 6.99$ once again a great deal as i havent saw the eel for under 11.00$ and i assume the zartan would be around 10.00$

I have them on order from BBTS. I figured I do it that way so im guaranteed to get a few to start with. Im having a hard time finding the ram/trouble bubble set. Im finding them, but there are 2!! RAM cycles in them. Ppl are taking the TB's and returning them with 2 cycles.Im sure the Fang/Calw will be avail soon enough. Im just too impatient to have to wait or beat the collectors at the stores. Thanks for the info GOCARDS. Im just going to keep picking up the ones from Target and Wal-Mart. These are leaked pre-production or error figures from the factory in China. These are also the test-shots you see on EBay.

For the 25A line the ones out now are the black faced and silver faced Crimson Guards (no accessories); silver chest Crimson Guards, Desert Guards, the Ultimate Battle Pack Destro (no belt), and BATs (also without belts and accessories).

If you look closely at General Hawk & LeonardoTDragon's reviews, you'll notice that the extra Crimson Guards & BATs they have in the background are midnight Chinese.

It kinda depends. The problem is that you are getting 2 types of BATs to build. I like the older model. The rabbit eared ones GROW on you, but if you already have the BATv whatever, it's hard to switch over. I mean, the rabbit eared wear shorts! PURPLE shorts at that! Or at least the ones I had did!

IF you can find a TON of those packs for cheap, you're set cuz then you can have 2 types going after the good guys. Word.

I found 2 packs. At least i will have 6 of the V5 Bats and 2ea of the V 3 and 4. I'll find some way to utilize them. If anyone has ordered the Artic or Desert sets and dont want certain figures please let me know. Im interested in purchasing them.

I don't usually bother posting in this thread, but I was thrilled when I got home today to find that the order I placed at Hasbro Toy Shop last Friday, which shipped on Tuesday and wasn't scheduled to arrive until next Tuesday actually got here today!

So now I've got the Pyramid of Darkness and Arise Serpentor, Arise DVD sets, and Transformers Classics Ironhide, Sideswipe, and "Silver"(should actually be Blue)streak! The cartoon Major Bludd is far and away the best rendition of the character ever, and the purple toon Snake-Eyes is pretty fantastic too!

Finally picked up the "Revenge of Cobra" DVD set.

Yeah, I know. Everyone already has this set. It took me awhile due to the fact the DVD sets started first appearing during a financially tight time for me so I'm now playing catchup. I still need to get "MASS Device" but I thought I'd get DVD set #2 first due to the inclusion of the really sweet looking Lady Jaye and the Weather Dominator.

My Fang/Claw two pack arrived today. The Fang is worth the price alone, but the Claw is a waste of plastic. It just looks and feels cheap and flimsy. And the two figures that came with the set are a cheap repaint cop out by Hasbro. Talk about junk, even for 25th figures!

Everyone keeps talking about how the new CLAW is cheap and poorly made. It looks fine to me, but then again I haven't held it in person-- And I never owned an original CLAW to compare it to, either, so maybe I just don't realize how much better it could be!

Trust me I have the original Claw,and I just got the new one.And the new one is VERY BAD compared to the original,I guess if we didn't have the first one to compare the new one to we might not be as down on it.So if by chance you get one of each you'll change your mind I promise...

That's a good question Frank. I was thinking some folks might want the figures and the accessories and not care about the DVD's. I am interested in the DVD's, but I'm not really interested in the figures. I'm not sure about the dio accessories, those would be cool I suppose.

I have several episodes on VHS... (old school baby!) But I know my VCR won't run forever...

Also, it's not Joe-related, but the postal service just delivered my Transformers Henkei (Japanese Classics) Skywarp and Thundercracker! They look pretty awesome, though Thundercracker has a couple of issues (floppy wings and guns that won't stay in place at all -- both only in robot mode, though).

Today is my birthday and all I really wanted was the Firefly vs Joe troopers. I'm 46 and that's what I wanted, so I bought it! To hell with growing old!

My thoughts on this set - first off - the Duke arms on the troopers just plain stink. I wish Hasbro would have fixed the arms prior to producing this set. The hair repaints look pretty cool, though.

This is basically just a box of custom parts, decent headsculpts and body parts, more XMLR-3A's and a blue camo'd Firefly just begging for a repaint. The blue just doesn't work!

Frank, the reasons why I am picking up the dvd sets are for various reasons.

Set1 - MASS Device. I got it for the set pieces.

Set 2 - Weather Dominator. Lady Jaye and set peices.

Set 3 - Arise Serpentor Arise. EVERYTHING

Set 4 - Pyramid of Darkness. Everything but Bludd & CC.

I have yet to get the 2nd 2 sets.





And from Hasbro, I got Mutt & Junkyard and CrocMaster. The rest of my shipment probably won't ship until Late-November/December. *shrug*

Distribution on the 25th has been terrible since day one where I am (California Bay Area). I finally gave up on looking for them in stores, and now I just buy them all online, either from Hasbro Toy Shop when possible (due to their lower prices), or Big Bad Toy Store when necessary (due to the fact that unlike HTS, their pre-orders don't sell out within a matter of hours).

I spend a lot less on gas now, so I figure that makes up for the shipping cost...

its a good figure, really good, but its not leatherneck to me. i was going to wait, but i thought id use it for a desert custom. it would be perfect with the right colors. so if you want a good figure and vehicle for a desert dio or whatever get it, otherwise wait for the recolor.

That is very odd!!! I have always had my orders filled same day or the next. Shoot John an email, maybe it got overlooked.

I think the delay was in sending a money order. My only issue with that is when I purchased items off of e-bay from the east coast, the mail only took about 3-5 days...I will send him an e-mail later this evening. Thanks for the info Vader.....

Yeah, I got the final DVD set yesterday. My MASS Device is potentially complete, but I've decided I actually like it better with the Weather Dominator on top!

The chrome faced Cobra Commander is the definitive version of C.C. that I've been waiting for since -- well, since forever! I can't wait to see pictures of him start popping up on here!
