I got today a 25th Anniversary Lady Jaye, a 25th Anniversary Cobra trooper, my second 25th Anniversary Flint, a Titanium series BSG Battlestar Pegasus, and a Serpent Guard from SG1. Last Friday I got a Steel Brigade vs. Plague Troopers, DTC Monkeywrench, and the Titanium series BSG Viper Mark II and Mark VII repaints.

Walmart was good to me today. I found several cases worth of waves 2,3, and 4. Picked up three Air Troopers and a reg. Trooper. I'm really hoping to see wave 5 before Christmas!

Seeing as there is not much decent new stuff around, I've been concentrating on building up some older stuff. Just recently I've managed to snag three v2 Rock Vipers, another blue Flak Viper (nullifier), a second Adder, another HISS MkI in mint condition, a full set of pac-rats (never had them before), and another ASP to strip for parts to finish an incomplete one I'm rebuilding. Mmmmm, old school Cobra vehicle goodness! ;) Oops, almost forgot...picked up a Cobra Wolf to customize for my MOTH Ice Vipers.

Over the last 6 weeks I have obtained an ignorant amount of stuff:

got most of wave 2 and 3 of the 25th anniversary figures. (Beachhead, 2 Lady Jayes, Flint, Shipwreck, Zartan, Buzzer, 2 Cobra Legion packs)

picked up 2 more Chap mei Chinooks to customize as Viper and Crimson Guard Transports (will get the Ospreys fro the iron grenadiers if I can find one...)

picked up a bunch of the "Kool Toys' lanard gift sets from target (a few for my son's forces, and one for a "Secret Santa" Gift)

but the big hauls came from ebay:

3 Original Death Star Playsets and a large lot of Terrrordrome parts for my Custom "Movie Sized" Terror Drome Project. (also came with 2 firebats)

4 Ice Snakes, 2 cobra Wolfs, 5 Original cobra Ice Sabres, 10 Snow Wolfs, 4 New Sculpt Snow Serpents and 2 Ice Vipers for my new Cobra Arctic Force.

Just got back into GIJoe, after having to sell off all of my Sigma 6 stuff a few months back... Things are looking up, so I thought I'd start getting the 25th Ann. stuff.

Picked up Storm Shadow (v2), Shipwreck, Firefly (fixed crotch), Beachhead, Stalker (fixed crotch), Lady Jaye, Cobra Trooper, Crimson Guard, and Flash. On ebay, I got Flint for $7 shipped and Baroness for $5 shipped (both loose, complete, displayed only) and I won the following for $37 shipped (all figs loose, 100%, displayed only):

Cobra box set (Cobra Commander, Destro, Baroness, Storm Shadow, Cobra Trooper), Zartan, Buzzer, Cobra Commander (v2), Serpentor, Red Ninja, Cobra Officer, Firefly and Storm Shadow (v2).

I'll have a spare Baroness, Firefly and Storm Shadow if anybody is interested, or I can see about making my own customs! So, yay for me!

The BBI stuff at my Target is still regular price. They had some figures on clearance, but when I came back they were gone...Someone had cleared them out ( or they took them back and shipped them out...)

But I did pick up a Legions pack today for $12.48!!!! They had a lot of them, but I'm tapped out from Christmas. They also have a bunch of Corps (or Corps-like) sets with 4 guys, a tower, and then some other vehicles. They all have 4 guys and a tower, but the vehicles vary (one has a mini-helo, one has a boat and motorcycle). The tower looks worht it. If anyone picked up one of those, please let us know.

So my only addition was the Legions pack. I passed them up at $25, at $17.98, but I caved in at $12.48. There were a couple of the Joe packs left, but looking at the legs on Scarlett, Roadblock and Gung-Ho, I couldn't see doing it...

I was at the dollar store yesterday, they had VvV single packs there for $2.00. I am a ARAH purist, I own four 25th figures, all customized & I own 0 JvC & VvV figures. For 2 bucks I bought a couple, I got 2 Sand Vipers & a Snake Eyes. I didn't need another Snake Eyes, but he is all black, I ditched the sword & gave him a custom slung, silenced Marauder Uzi. The Sand Vipers are friggin cool! I love the helmet, I wish the Firefly backpack had the cover. They both got weapons upgrades, I will post a picure later. These figures are cool for $2, but they do not match ARAH figures very well. I am not going to go out of my way to start collecting the modern figures, but I may pick some up if I think they are cool. :eek:

Picked up both Wave 2 comic packs at WalMart today. I noticed yesterday they did their reset, with LOTS of space for Joe single packs and comic packs. I stopped today and they had a case of Wave 2 comic packs up, so I grabbed Destro/Breaker and Torch/Ripper. Very cool.

My supplier sold me 8 Vipers (the Viper Pit 6 + the 2 Vipers that came with an Alley-Viper), 3 Tele-Vipers (2 single-pack, 1 from the TV/Airborne 2pack), 2 DTC Range-Vipers, a Sting Raider, and a Cobra CLAWS (Venom Striker version).

Thanks to my recent haul, I now finally have some Range-Vipers and my Viper count is up to 28.

I'm negioating with him on some more stuff. At the rate this going, my Cobra force will be quite formiable.

I highly recommend Snow-Job, even if you are only half-sold on snow troopers. I hardly ever used my original Snow-Job, as something always felt wrong with the black visor molded on.

The 25th has the best of both worlds...and you can slap another head on there to create a snow team... Of course I bought the only one I ever saw, so it's not likely I'll make an arctic team.

Thankfully I can show him in action against Snow Serpents (both old-school and DTC).

Try my Viper surgery method on one and try him out a little. If you don't like it, leave the rest the way they are. (I waited to do the surgery on the gold-head viper until after I had practiced and felt confident...) I know my boys would have broken them if I had let them play with them right out of the package.

I'm not half sold on the snow Joe's they are amongst my faves, I actually am probably going to pick up an Ice Sabre to go with my Snow Cat and Polar Battle Bear. I am slowly aquiring the snow troops, I still need Avalance, and Windchill, and probably a couple more. I have Snow Job v1 and just picked up the 25th version, Frostbite, Iceberg, Whiteout, and Big Ben. I have two Cobra Snow Serpents so far, and am picking up another soon. I also picked up 25th Sgt Flash, though I'm not overly impressed with him.

Here's a shot of mine. I spray painted the canopy black and over the star then just added a Cobra mblem. The best things about are it fits the Mocassin perfectly or a Stinger sans missle rack.

The only good thing about Battle Corps Muskrat was the head - Crosshair's hat fits it perfectly, so it's very easy to make a removable hat custom Muskrat. ;)

I intend to paint the Night Creeper Leader and make the yellow parts grey, and change the gold on top of his head to burgundy or something, so he looks more fitting with his v1 troops.
Torpedo I wanted because I only had the Spy Troops and VAMP set versions already (both land-based) and I figured the red details on this one should make him more distinct from Wet-Down than v1 Torpedo would.
The Siegie helmets are for a Guard and Faces I got ages ago in lots without any accessories.
